Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the By Heart application for mobile devices (the “Application”). The Application was created by Ink River, LLC (the “Service Provider”) and is provided “as is.”

Information Collection and Use

The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include:

  • Your device's Internet Protocol address, such as IP address
  • The pages of the Application that you visit, the date and time of your visit, and the time spent on those pages
  • The time spent in the Application
  • The operating system used on your mobile device

The Application does not collect precise location information from your mobile device.

The Application does not use artificial intelligence (AI) technology to process your data or provide features.

The Service Provider may use the information you provide to contact you from time to time with important information, required notices, and marketing promotions.

For a better experience while using the Application, the Service Provider may ask you to provide certain personally identifiable information. The information requested by the Service Provider will be retained and used as described in this privacy policy.

Third-Party Access

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help the Service Provider improve the Application and its service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways described in this privacy statement.

Please note that the Application uses third-party services that have their own privacy policies regarding data handling. The third-party service providers used by the Application are:

  • Google Analytics for Firebase
  • Firebase Crashlytics
  • RevenueCat

The Service Provider may disclose user-provided and automatically collected information:

  • As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process;
  • When the Service Provider believes in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect its rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
  • With trusted service providers who work on the Service Provider's behalf, do not have an independent use of the disclosed information, and have agreed to follow the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes available on your mobile device or through the mobile application marketplace or network.

Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider will retain user-provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. To request deletion of user data provided through the Application, email contact@ink-river.com, and the Service Provider will respond in a reasonable time.

Children

The Service Provider does not knowingly use the Application to solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Application is not directed to anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, it will immediately delete that information from its servers. If you are a parent or guardian and know that your child has provided personal information, please contact the Service Provider at contact@ink-river.com so appropriate action can be taken.

Security

The Service Provider values the confidentiality of your information and provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information it processes and maintains.

Changes

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of changes by updating this page with the new privacy policy. You are advised to review this page periodically, as continued use is deemed acceptance of all changes.

This privacy policy is effective as of April 20, 2026.

By using the Application, you consent to the processing of your information as described in this privacy policy and as amended by the Service Provider.
